Liam-isms

Sorry, about the Debbie Downer post yesterday. And thank you friends for your sweet words and encouragment. Today's post is going to be all about my sweet boy. Goodness even as I just think of him, a smile is brought to my face. Here are all the things I love about my boy

• He is so darn cute. The only time he has not been the cutest was probably the night he ws born. (All red and with a swollen face.. not cute, but still precious to me). He only had that not so cute newborn look for maybe a night. He looked really normal and darling right away!
  
• His hair! Oh my gosh, it's the best. And sometimes you can kind of see that one day, he is probably going to have his daddy's curls. His hair gives him such personality and it looks even cuter when nothing is done to it.
  
• His smile. I have never seen a baby smile this much. When he wakes up in the morning and I go to fetch him, he sees me and right away gives me the sweetest grin and it instantly brightens my day. You don't have to do much to get him to smile, it's amazing and rewarding. It helps me keep going, when sometimes I feel like I'm running on empty.
• Liam's laugh. I don't think anyone, but his dad and I have gotten to hear it. It is the cutest thing and can typically only be brought out by his dad. Brandon will tickle and kiss his tummy and Liam will let out the cutest giggles.
  
• His hands. Though Liam has entered the grab and yank stage, it also means that his is grasping onto everything. While in the bath at night, he will do his best to grab his washcloth from me (he usually is successful). He is holding onto toys, and of course, sticking them in his mouth. When he is being nursed he insits on holding onto my hands and/or my fingers. And if he is getting bottlefed, he tries his best to attempt to hold his bottle. If anything light enough is left near him, he will find ir=t.. and so will his mouth.
• It may not always be fun, but he is putting everything in his mouth. If I hold him near my face, he will often suck on my cheek or my neck haha.
• For a couple of weeks he did the cutest thing, where he would suck on his upper lip while still sticking out his tongue. Haha, it would crack me up, but he doesn't do it anymore. :(
  
• Watching him develop is amazing. He can hold his head up really well now and can hold his weight on his feet while standing if his hands are being held.

Liam's favorite things:

• Playing with daddy
• Eating!
  
• Taking baths
  
• Being sung to
• Falling asleep with 2 toys (one being his lovie), with arms or hands around each.

Well, there you have it folks. He is the best, and I get to be his mom. :) Jealous? You should be.
